ThE Law's Chapel Cemetery was begun in 1854, a year after the
church was established. It wasn't until October 19, 1869, that the
first six acres were deeded to the church by Richard R. Law, son
of the founder. Additions have since been made. This is the
resting place of many area pioneers but now is used primarily for
members of Law's Chapel Methodist Church and nearby Piney Grove
Baptist Church. Each shares the management and maintenance.
